Tannaghmore 4-15 Crossmaglen 3-4 Tuesday 27th April 2010 marked an historic date in Tannaghmore Primary School’s calendar. For the fifth year in a row the young primary school football team has reached the All County Armagh championship final. Having claimed seven county titles in eight years, the North Armagh School now boasts the tremendous record of losing only once during this time to the formidable St Patrick’s Primary School, Crossmaglen.

Paddy O'Rourke the new Armagh manager watched an entertaining North Armagh Town v County game at Highmoss Sarsfields, Derrytrasna, Lurgan on Sunday. The country side ran out 2 point winners with Kieran Murray making a superb penalty save and denying Ryan Henderson towards the end of the match. Paul Wilson the town keeper kept his team in contention alongside Michael Austin and Marty Hoey in defence and All-Ireland minor winner Andrew Murnin, considering he was one of the youngest men on the pitch, had a superb game and scored a quality long distance point in the second half.
Eire Og Promoted Eire Og Seniors recorded a comprehensive victory over Cullyhanna side Dorsey Emmets on Sunday at Pinebank to pip Crossmaglen II and successfully gain promotion into Armagh County League Division III next season. The result of the match and 2 points were never in doubt after both Marc Fagan and Ciaran Fleming hit the two goals in the first half for the Craigavon side.
